Our January Mission of the Month is LCMS Life Ministry. You can donate the entire month of January at church, mail in a donation, or use our giving page and select mission of the month.
Through numerous domestic and international programs, LCMS Life Ministry supports and encourages life “in the image of God,” through life-affirming programming, advocacy and teaching.
By supporting women and children through crisis pregnancy centers, providing educational materials and opportunities, reaching out to youth through a Christian chastity program, and working closely with allies such as National Lutherans For Life and the National Pro-Life Religious Council, Life Ministry is carrying the banner that life is sacred.

On Saturday, Jan. 8, thousands will gather together to march for life in Chicago. LCMS Life Ministry will be among those gathered for the rally and march, and LCMS President Rev. Dr. Matthew C. Harrison will speak at the rally. We invite you to join your fellow Lutherans at the March for Life Chicago and then stay for a special event that will follow the march. The LCMS event will be held at the Hilton Downtown Chicago on Michigan Ave., from 4–5 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to hear LCMS leaders speak about how Lutherans uphold life at all stages, as well as learn about the new LCMS Million Dollar Life Match and other topics. The event will feature Harrison, LCMS Northern Illinois District President Rev. Dr. Allan R. Buss and LCMS Life Ministry Director Deaconess Tiffany Manor.
