Diana Motel- Preschool Teacher/Ministry Support Coordinator
Diana has been a member of Living Word since she was five years old. Alongside her husband, she is proud to raise their son. As a certified educator, she had dedicated the past four years to inspiring young minds as our preschool teacher. Her unwavering passion for Children's Ministry shines through her leadership in organizing all Kingdom Kids events. She also actively works with local charities to support our Mission of the Month initiative. She is guided by Colossians 3:23- "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord".
Neal Hartz - Church President
Neal has been the church president for the past 5 years. He and his wife have been members of Living Word for more than 12 years. He has learned not be fooled by the size of our congergation right now. He sees that our members are active and, above all, filled with faith and love for God first, then their family in Christ. He is honored and knows it is a privilege to serve this congregation as president. He says this is only a title, because we are truly God's sheep and he is our shepherd. Using a quote from Dr.David Jeremiah, "It is not how many are in the building, it is whether God is in the room." He surely is, and welcoming us every time we go through the doors of this church. A Bible passage he leans on is from Micah 6:8, "He has shown you o man, what is good, and what does he require of you? But to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God."
Bev Hodo- Church Secretary
Bev has been attending Living Word since 2000. She has been the secretary since January 2019. Bev and her husband were married in June of 1991 and they have one adult son. She has also been a member of the Call Committee for the last couple of years. She is very thankful to serve the Lord in any way she can. She is always willing to help around the church in any way she can.
Anita Meier - Musician
Anita has been attending Living Word from the very beginning, and has been its primary musician throughout the years. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago. Prior to Living Word, Anita served in other churches since 1973. She currently leads musicals twice a year at the church and gives direction to singers for worship each week. Anita is married to Gary and they have two grown sons and six grandchildren. “My intent for Living Word is that we grow in faith, hope, love, grace, charity, and forgiveness. If I can be an instrument through music and singing, I will be very thankful and praise my God and Savior for such an opportunity.”
